Ode To Hockney Child Jumper- Downloadable Jumper Knitting Pattern

I recently went to David Hockney exhibition and was so inspired that I decided to knit a jumper with a tree in blossom. The jumper is knitted in a dk yarn and the outline of the tree uses stranding. The blossom is embroidered with french knots.

Sizing

Age 2(4: 6:8:10)

To fit Chest 55(60:65:70:75)cm

Actual size 60(65: 70: 75:80)cm

Length 36(40:44: 48: 52)cm

Sleeve length 23(28: 33: 38:40)cm

Tension

22 sts to 10 cm over stocking stitch.

Needles

1 pair each 4.00mm and 3.5mm or sizes needed to give correct tension.

Rowan Alpaca Soft 70% virgin wool/ 30% Alpaca 50g 125m.

Yarn A- baby blue (224) x 4(4:4:5:5:6)balls

Yarn B- Brown (shade 204) x 1 ball

Yarn C Green (215) x 1 ball
