Design Course to Knit a cardigan or jumper – This Course has Four x 1.5hr sessions.
Time: 6.30- 8.00pm
Dates: 19th February, 5th March and 26th March
The 4th date will be decided by the group.
Start 2026 with a new project Would you like to take fair isle knitting/ knitting skills one step further?
In this course you are going to design a cardigan or jumper with a Fair isle Border or all over Fair isle design. The course will be spread over 4 sessions with spaces in between each session so you can work on your knitting. You will meet like minded knitters and e able to share ideas.
Learning skills that will be developed;
- Different types of hems
- Working out tension
- Adapting patterns
- Using Stitch Fiddle to chart your Fair Isle design in your chosen colours
- How to make small and large buttonholes
- Blocking your work
- Weaving in ends as you go
- Sewing up perfectly
All sessions will be recorded and sent to you
Cost including tuition and 10 balls of 100% Dk merino yarn (alpaca yarn can be used but this will extra) from £110.00 + p & p ( dependant on amount of yarn required).
2/8 places are now available as I only like to work with a small group
